After finding itself in a lawsuit filed by Tinder, the app used for threesomes formerly called 3nder is now changing its name to "Feeld" to avoid further legal mishap and misunderstanding.

The lawsuit is not yet over but the app is now changing its name to Feeld to further distance itself from the ever popular Tinder, where people try to find hookups or perhaps friends in the nearby area. Feeld allows users to find partners and other people who want to perform in a threesome or maybe even more.

Feeld claims itself as an app that is designed for openminded users who wants to be unrestricted with their gender, relationships and their sexuality, The Independent has learned. In addition, it wants people to know that the app is not just for threesomes alone.

Dimo Trifonov, the founder of the Feeld app, said that the app was inspired by the ever growing curiosity of people in terms of their sexuality. He adds that humans and love, by nature, do not like to be "stagnant."

One of the basis for the Tinder lawsuits was that Trifonov said earlier that 3nder rhymes with Tinder, the New York Post reported. The company does not want to shut down their operations as the app is still continuing to gain traction despite its signup process.

Feeld claims that there are already 1.57 million downloads on iOS alone. There are over 600 threesome matches in an hour and that their members send about three million messages per month which suggests that the app could also be used to find sexting partners.

Android users should not be disappointed as Feeld is coming to the platform soon. The company claims that there are already 78,000 Android users on their waiting list.

Feeld also claims that signups for their iOS app has increased by 65 percent in the last year alone. The figure could triple or quintuple if the downloads are opened to all including the Android platform.

Tinder has not yet commented on the issue but Feeld seems to be continuing the operations of their app as usual. Users who are interested in trying out threesomes could sign up for the app for the iOS platform.
