Pokémon GO players have turned to cheats, tips and tricks such as using GPS spoofers so that they can play the AR game in the comfort of their own homes without even leaving their bed.

Unfortunately, Niantic has made it harder for players to use GPS spoofers in Pokémon GO with the new updated API that blocks out several features. It has also led to several useful apps such as PokeScanner, PokeMesh and Pokémon GO Live Map being disabled even though they were not considered to be cheating apps for the game.

Players can still use a modified APK to run Pokémon GO GPS spoofers or hacks in the game, Earn the Necklace has learned. However, doing so will require a new account which means all of the achievements and Pokémon caught will be for nothing.

For some, that may not be a problem especially if Pokémon GO is not yet released in their country. The Philippines, Brazil and the rest of Latin America could be the next to receive Pokémon GO.

Pokémon GO cheats, tips and tricks users for those with the modified APK can just activate the GPS Spoofer apps so that they can virtually walk around their neighborhood. One tip is to turn off the Google Location History so that Niantic won't have evidence of the players using fake GPS.

Another tip is to use a GPS Spoofer app that can simulate walking. Successful Pokémon GO hacks often make use of such fake GPS apps because they do not arouse much suspicion compared to those who just jump around the maps.

Those who do not want to go through all the hassle of creating a new account and downloading a Pokémon GO modified APK, they can still use a fake GPS signal. Stefan Kiese used a radio-frequency-shielded box dubbed as the HackRF to fool the Pokémon GO app and servers into thinking that the GPS signal is legitimate, The Bitbag reported.

Players who want to use Pokémon GO cheats, tips and tricks will have to be more careful if they do not want to be banned. Using Pokémon GO GPS hacks and spoofers are a great way to be banned but also to catch more Pokémon without walking around.
