DC Comics' most recent anticipated film, "Suicide Squad," gave watchers a few teasers for the next films of DC during the closing credits, which surely will get DC fans in general enticed for their plans and prospects.

"Suicide Squad" is a film about a government official named Amanda Waller, played by Viola Davis, who needs a black ops team assembled to fight and defeat a supernatural threat, called the "Enchantress", who is played by Cara DeLevingne. The timeline is immediately after "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice", where Superman has fallen.
The main antagonist is a misanthropic entity who has manifested itself as the physical form of archeologist June Moone. Her ultimate goal is to end humanity so to speak.
At the end of the DC film, she was taken down by the squad through a bomb, in which El Diablo had to sacrifice himself to kill the Enchantress' brother. When the whole squad was able to eliminate their nemesis, Moone is freed from the evil entity and returns as a normal human being.
The squad was rewarded with nothing but a 10-year reduction in their prison terms, and each of them was once again incarcerated to serve their sentence. Aside from that, they were also given each a specific item for their cell, or a pass to do something: Deadshot gets to see his daughter, Killer Croc is gifted a TV cell, and Harley Quinn an espresso machine.
The final scene of the film before the credits is the Joker helping Harley Quinn escape prison. This could potentially mean that they will be both antagonists in the Batman sequel, taking effect immediately after this film. The two are both mortal enemies of Batman, and he surely will not let them get away that easily, according to Attack of the Fanboy.
Meanwhile, it can also be a setup for a future Harley Quinn film, according to Bustle. The cliffhanger could potentially also lead to another antihero film like "Suicide Squad", wherein the couple psychopaths are the main protagonists.
The scene that takes up in the middle of the credits is a direct promotion of a "Justice League" film. Bruce Wayne is seen woeful and cheerless upon knowing that antiheroes, or should we say, supervillains, were needed to eliminate something more sinister. Wayne is then seen talking to Waller about his "friends", with the obvious implication being the other heroes from DC.
