"America's Got Talent" season 11 contestant Grace Vanderwaal recently shared that she's been feeling very sick lately.
On her Instagram account, the 12-year-old singer posted a photo of herself wearing a Taylor Swift shirt while resting on her bed at home.
"Taylor Swift helping me feel better on my sick days. (I am very sick rn)" she wrote alongside the snap.
Fans of Vanderwaal immediately speculated on the possibility of Vanderwaal feeling sick before of her upcoming appearance at the Dolby Theater stage by the end of August.
Other fans are claiming that Vanderwaal is trying to attract the votes of Swift's fans especially now that she's going to her first live show for the season.
Back in May, Vanderwaal received a golden buzzer from judge Howie Mandel after she performed her original song "I Don't Know My Name."
Following her performance, judge Simon Cowell said that Vanderwaal could be the next Taylor Swift.
During one of her interviews, the young singer said that she's happy to be linked to Swift, but added that she prefers to not be compared to any singer because she is her own artist.
This is why some of her fans and critics have been noting that Vanderwaal didn't really want to be associated with Swift, but was wearing a Swift-inspired shirt in the photo.
Meanwhile, Vanderwaal has also been posting a series of photos via her Instagram account before the live shows.
Just recently, she shared a selfie wearing a kitty-inspired headphone. In another photo, Vanderwaal shared a drawing of herself while announcing that her Instagram has been verified.
Vanderwaal also urged fans to be patient with the schedule of "America's Got Talent" that was affected by the Olympics.
She will perform live on "America's Got Talent" season 11 on Aug. 23 at 8 p.m. ET. Results will follow after on Aug. 24 at 8 p.m. ET.
