The show will be inspired by music from the epic fantasy-drama series and has been described as a "music and visual experience that will bring the Seven Kingdoms to life on a scale never seen before, according to Variety.

The show will feature an 80-piece orchestra and choir led by Djawadi as they play renditions of fan-favorite "Game of Thrones'" themes including "Mhysa" and "Light of the Seven" on a 360-degree stage, taking fans on a an immersive musical journey through famous GoT locations like King's Landing and Winterfell.

The concert will bring the series to life through the medium of LED telescoping, wall screens as well as 3D designs that will emerge from the stage floor, Billboard reported.

Djawadi said that the "Game of Thrones" concert had been in development for a few years. The composer added that they wanted to introduce it as a special event that gives fans the feeling that they're in Westeros as they make their way into the arena and to make that happen, the concert will also include footage from the series along with images created explicitly for the tour.

The tour's announcement was made at a "Game of Thrones" fan event at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Monday, Aug. 9, where Djawadi and Isaac Hempstead Wright, who plays the role of Bran Stark on the show, were also in attendance.

The tour kicks off on Feb. 15, 2017 in Kansas City and tour-stops include Los Angeles, New York City and Las Vegas as well as a handful of cities in Canada. Tickets will be available for sale on Live Nation on Aug. 13.
