The last chapter of "Bleach" will be unveiled on Thursday and it is expected to put an end to Yhwach once and for all. In addition, a huge announcement is set in the next chapter and fans are hoping that it will be an anime continuation.
In the penultimate chapter, the story jumped ten years after Ichigo defeated Yhwach by cutting him in half. New captains for the Gotei 13 had been appointed but before the chapter was over, it was revealed that Yhwach's Reiatsu is detected once again. Hence, fans over at Reddit believe The Almighty ruler was able to jump into the future to spare himself from the battle with Ichigo 10 years ago.
As the Soul Society confirms his arrival in that particular time period, some fans suggest that it will be the future version of Ichigo who will show up to stop him. Also, it will be revealed that Ichigo is now the new Captain-Commander, replacing Kyoraku Shunsui. To sweeten things up, Orihime Inoue is believed to remain by Ichigo's side as his wife.
Some suggest that it would rather be a more dramatic ending wherein Ichigo will be able to follow Yhwach to the future and he will see a very peaceful Soul Society. This will give him the drive to finish Yhwach for good so they can attain such future.
Also, a big reveal is said to be announced once the issue is released and fans over at Manga Sail believe it will be a continuation of the anime. The anime adaptation was cut short and the only available material covers up to chapter 479 only. Should the anime resume, it will pick up from chapter 480 until 686.
As a quick refresher on the events that transpired in the previous chapter, it was revealed that Rukia is now part of the Gotei 13 and will be helming the 13th division. Also, Mayuri got a new assistant named Nemuri Hachigou. As the chapter concluded, it was revealed that some sort of dark Reiatsu is accumulating and it was similar to Yhwach's.
