To say that Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston's relationship escalated far too quickly is an understatement. The highly-documented couple, who went from dancing together at the Met Gala 2016 to locking lips by the beach, is rumored to be taking their romance to the next level.
Insiders revealed that "The Night Manager" actor is "planning to propose very soon" to the Grammy-winning singer. According to Us Weekly, sources close to Swift disclosed that "she would definitely say yes" if Hiddleston pops the big question. It's no question that the 26-year-old "Shake It Off" singer is deeply in love with her new beau, who has reportedly met her parents in Nashville. Swift, too, has met Hiddleston's mother and sisters in England.
The source added that Swift considers Hiddleston a "dream come true" and describes him as "romantic, classic and chivalrous."
Going by the moniker Hiddleswift, the couple has been spotted in various having romantic dates in various locations including England, Rome and Australia. A source told PEOPLE that they were "very affectionate, happy and just lovely" during their dinner date at Gemelli Italian restaurant in Gold Coast, Australia.
At the rate that their relationship is going, pals of the "Thor: Ragnarok" star said they won't be surprised if Hiddleston proposed since "everything has been so random and spontaneous" with the twosome. Also, the 35-year-old actor reportedly told his friends that he and Swift discussed marriage and having kids.
Swift appears to be the obvious exception to Hiddleston's dating record, who is said to prefer taking his relationships slow. Also, it can be recalled that he was very quiet and private about his past romance with "Avengers" actress Elizabeth Olsen.
Although their love story has been slammed with controversy, criticism and a series of tweets from Swift's former flame Calvin Harris, the new power couple is seemingly unfazed by it all. Not even a little drama with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian can stop Hiddleswift's love train.
Hiddleston is currently still in Australia filming "Thor: Ragnarok," the third installment in the Marvel superhero franchise. Meanwhile, Swift was recently spotted in the Hamptons performing at a birthday bash with singer Nelly.
