By this time, fans are already expecting that Marvel would finally give out details or even just to confirm if an "Iron Man 4" movie would still happen. A lot of questions regarding the film is still left unanswered, and one of which is if Robert Downey Jr. is still down in reprising his role as Tony Stark for the very last time.

Downey has been giving out statements which seemed like he's not that interested in doing "Iron Man 4." During one of his interviews, Downey said that "Captain America: Civil War" could pass up for an "Iron Man 4," and even stated "In a way it's Cap 3 but for me it's like my little Iron Man 4. And then it's back to the thing we all recognize. Everything pulls over to the side of the road when the thunder of an Avengers thing comes through because that's how it is until it changes. If it changes."

Some rumors suggest that Downey would still wear the Iron Man suit in the fourth instalment while Harley, who was first seen as the kid back in "Iron Man 3," would serve as his sidekick. Though the actor Ty Simpkins is only 15 years old as of the moment, rumors indicate that Marvel is just waiting for him to grow up in preparation for the upcoming "Iron Man 4," which is set to be released on 2020.

Meanwhile, according to some speculations, Tony Stark might be last seen in the upcoming "Amazing Spiderman," where he would serve as Peter's mentor.

Tony's death would open a possibility for a different actor to play as Iron Man if ever a 4th instalment of the franchise happens. It is also stated that Marvel studios might incorporate the idea of Marvel comics where a teenage girl wears the suit of Iron Man.

Rumors suggest that Riri Williams might be the next Iron Man, which means that RDJ would be replaced by a 15-year-old teenage girl. It seems like the actor is supporting the idea wherein RDJ even recently tweeted "We are not brushing aside the fact that this line of story might be picked by Marvel Studios in 'Iron Man 4.'"

Until no confirmation coming from Marvel that RDJ is retiring from his role as Iron Man, fans should just keep on praying for the best and hope that Tony Stark would still be the star in "Iron Man 4."
