As Pokémon GO developer Niantic starts issuing permanent bans, cheating in the game seems becoming more and more difficult and impossible. But not in the case of players using iPhones as an updated hack generously allows the catching of Pokémon minus the walking or without stepping out from home and the best part - the risk of getting banned has been minimized if not totally eliminated.

But first, one would need a jailbroken iPhone, according to YouTube channel iCrackUriDevice, which explained that the modification is key for the hack to work. And as the regular Pokémon GO app will not run alongside a jailbreak tool, users will need to install a customized replacement app that can be obtained from Cydia or the jailbreak alternative to App Stores.

No worries at all in performing the procedure as iCrackUriDevice provided a detailed walkthrough that users can easily follow. It should be noted that the hack is possible only on iPhones running iOS 9.3.3 so those who installed iOS 9.3.4 recently will need to downgrade. The same goes for those testing the latest iOS 10 beta.

Once the jailbreak has been applied and the unofficial Pokémon GO app installed, the benefits will start flowing in - things will get dramatically easier.

For one, players can enjoy the game and gain mileage (the app will read it that way) without walking. And there is an option to manipulate the trainer movement that allows for walking, biking or car driving move. There will be instances that the app will warn of fast-moving pace, in which case players can simply tick the passenger mode to convince the server that no GPS spoofing trick is in effect.

Part of the mod also permits location tweaks - players will have access on pre-mapped destinations while at the same time enjoy Pokémon tracking alerts. Not only that the hack will point players to Pokémon concentrations but will also give tips on pocket monsters to zero in.

And as mentioned, new features have been added in the updated hack to ensure that Niantic will not catch a player cheating. In the new version, the curve ball progress has been deleted as according to the hack creator this is one sure way that cheaters are detected.

Plus in the event of application crash, the tool now features a save location trick that will stop a Trainer from popping out again on the player's real-time location. Again, this ensures that Niantic remains clueless on the powerful hack being used.
