"One Piece" Chapter 836 is expected to be the turning point of the adventure of the Straw Hats in Whole Cake Island, as Big Mom demands Sanji to give up his soul to prove his allegiance.
"One Piece" Chapter 835 concluded with reunification of Nami and Luffy. It can be remembered that the two ended up lost in Secuding Woods and got separated because of Brulee Charlotte and her minions. Things got even messier when the 8th daughter of the Charlotte Family who, according to Nami possessed the Mira Mira no Mi which gives her power to copy the images of other individual, intervened and copied Nami to mislead Luffy.
Luckily, Luffy found the real Nami and the mysteries of the Whole Cake Island started to unfold. The two got first-hand information from the buried giant who happened to be one of the spouses of Big Mom that the trees and other creatures in the forest were controlled by Big Mom. She accrues souls of the town folks as mode of payment for their security every six months with the help of Charlotte Linlin's power called Soul-Soul no Mi.
Meanwhile, it is also speculated that Brook and Pedro might also be in danger since their plan to get to the Poneglyphs is feared to be discovered by Big Mom, and that they will most likely be caught by Charlotte Linlin or the soldiers.
But the highlight of the upcoming "One Piece" Chapter 836 is on Sanji's dilemma as he is stuck between choosing to give up his soul for his safety over fighting back and finding his friends. He is being asked by Big Mom to give part of his soul, which signifies that he is willing to be a resident in the island and that he will be willing to be with Charlotte Linlin.
"One Piece" Chapter 836 also preludes another connection between Straw Hats and Big Mom upon Nami's discovery that she is acquainted with one of the daughters of Big Mom when Giant Buried shouted their names before Charlotte Cracker appeared and pulled him out.
In addition, rumor has it that Big Mom is set to reveal a powerful attack to one of the members of the Straw Hats, who is presumed to be Sanji. With that said, fans fear that Sanji might succumb to the demands of Charlotte Linlin.
