"Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" stars William Ray Norwood Jr., more known as Ray J and his girlfriend Princess Love officially tied the knot on the night of Aug. 12, Friday. The couple said "I do's" before more than a hundred of their family members and close friends at the Vibiana Cathedral in Los Angeles.
The attendees of their wedding included Ray J's elder sister Brandy Norwood aka Brandy, who was the bridesmaid while rapper The Game was groomsman. Brandy sang Etta James' "At Last" during the couple's first dance while R&B artist Anthony Hamilton belted his "The Point of It All" to serenade the couple.
Love confirmed the news with an Instagram post, which has a "Just Married" photo with the newlyweds about to leave the wedding event. There were reportedly many "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" cameras around and that things kicked off at about 9 p.m., TMZ reported.
Prior to their marriage, Ray J and Love posted their wedding invitations on their joint Instagram account, for fans to have a look. Ray J and Love have been dating since 2014 and got engaged in January.
When the rapper and his co-star were together for more than a year, he proposed to Love on the tarmac of an airport fronting a private jet. She did not know her parents and close friends were inside the plane hiding.
The proposal was a surprise to Love who did not have an idea that her parents and close friends were there. They were heading to Arizona in a private jet. It was when her then boyfriend pulled out a ring - crying while proposing, according to E! News.
Described by Ray J as her real ride-or-die woman, Love also cried like a baby. They were officially engaged at the premiere parties for the reality shows on WE TV, "Kendra on Top" and "Driven to Love." Love usually showed her halo-style and massive cushion cut engagement ring in photos.
The 35-year-old groom was known for his high-profile dates including Kim Kardashian from 2003 to 2006. He was also linked to Whitney Houston before she died in 2012. Meanwhile, fashion designer Love previously dated boxing star Floyd Mayweather.
