"Love and Hip Hop Hollywood" stars Ray J and Princess Love are engaged. The reality stars confirmed their engagement during the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlana.
In an interview with In Touch Weekly, Princess Love shared that he wanted the the engagement news to come from the rapper. Eventually, she was not able to help herself and said that they are indeed engaged, she just "forgot" to put on her ring. Princess then shared a photo of her huge engagement ring on Instagram.
The two have always had an on-again, off-again relationship that fans cannot help but be surprised by the announcement. According to Daily Mail, Princess Love and Ray J may have been dating for more than a year but they did not always have a smooth relationship.
Early this year, the reality star was arrested for allegedly attacking her boyfriend at a New Orleans hotel. It was said that a security guard found the rapper lying in the hall, bleeding from Princess Love's attack. Ray J suffered from broken ribs, split lip and a torn ACL.
Princess Love was then arrested for domestic abuse and battery. The publication held that a witness came forward who allegedly heard the stripper turned fashion designer screaming, "I'm gonna kill you."
The reality star, however, got out of prison after Ray J paid her bill. Although the two refused to discuss what happened, Princess Love revealed that their relationship would never return to normal after the incident. She added that she "lost respect" for her fiancé, saying that he should have not let her spend even a night in jail.
