The reviews for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 are in and the verdict sounds unanimous - that the 5.7-inch Android flagship is the best and the greatest so far from the South Korean tech giant. The gorgeous and powerful device, in fact, packs the specifications and feature upgrades to easily defeat the competition and chief of which is the Apple iPhone 6S Plus.

Below are the 10 Galaxy Note 7 features not found on the iPhone 6S Plus:

Super AMOLED

Display Mate is of the opinion that the Super AMOLED screen technology, rendering in 2K display resolution with pixel density of 518 pixels per inch is the best in the industry now, far better than the once mighty superior Retina screen found on the iPhone 6S Plus. OLED is said to be part of the iPhone supply chain but not until in 2017.

Adding sexiness to the already gorgeous Note 7 AMOLED display is the curved or edge screen that creates the illusion of bezel-free device display.

Powerful shooter

When the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge came out earlier in the year, experts and reviewers picked the devices as the best camera phones, beating both the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. The same camera set up is what the Galaxy Note 7 offers so the title so far is retained by Samsung with the new phablet.

Giant screen but smaller build

Sitting side by side with the 6S Plus, the Note 7 build is noticeably smaller but the screen size screams big with the 5.7-inch profile. Users will get more screen real estate with Note 7 but better handling when compared to the slightly bulkier iPhone 6S Plus.

S Pen

The iPhone has no stylus feature support and there is no indication that the current setting will change anytime soon. And that means Note 7 users writing or scrawling on the screen (even on standby mode) will remain as source of envy by iPhone fans.

Iris scanner

Samsung provided another layer of biometric-based security features with the Galaxy Note 7 in the form of iris scanner, which mainly unlocks the device and protects files.

Private Folder

The Note 7 includes a Private Folder that will keep users private and sensitive files tightly protected by password, fingerprint and iris keys.

VR contents

Samsung is tying up with Oculus thus opening the door for rich virtual reality or VR contents that Note 7 users can readily access.

Wireless and quick charging

Leading Android flagships now feature wireless and quick charging, the latter also available wirelessly. The Galaxy Note 7 further enhanced on this convenient mobile device functions, which the iPhone 6S Plus lacks and likely the iPhone 7 will skip too.

Water and dust proofing

Like the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge before it, the Galaxy Note 7 can stay under water and still function for 30 minutes. The device is designed for active use (protection from dust is part of the deal too) but managed to look svelte and elegant.

Nearly 300GB of usable memory

Out of the box, the Galaxy Note 7 has 64GB of built-in memory but Samsung decided to bring back the microSD slot that can now accommodate 256GB of extra memory. Such so much memory space is not accessible for iPhone 6S Plus users.
