Microsoft has recently revealed the official PC specs requirements for Gears of War 4 in three different categories along with a new 4K gameplay footage for fans to drool on.

There are three categories for the Gears of War 4 PC version spec requirements but all of them require the PC to run the recently rolled out Windows 10 anniversary update. About 80 GB of free hard disk space is also required for the whole game installation.

For the minimum requirement, Microsoft requires a PC rig with at least an Intel i5 3470 or an AMD FX-6300 processor running at a frequency of 3.0GHz and 8GB RAM. The minimum Gears of War 4 PC video card requirement is either a GTX 750 Ti or an R7 260X with 4GB VRAM, GameSpot has learned.

Meanwhile, the recommended PC specs include an i5 4690 or an AMD FX-8350 proc with 3.5GHz clocks. The recommended video card is either an AMD RX 480, R9 290X or NVIDIA's GTX 970 and the new GTX 1060 with 4GB VRAM.

Microsoft's so-called "Ideal" setup requires at least an Intel i7-4790 or an FX-9590 processor running at 4GHz and 16GB RAM. They recommend an NVIDIA GTX 980 Ti, GTX 1080 or the R9 Fury X with 6GB for the VRAM, Digital Trends reported.

Perhaps the Ideal setting will let players play Gears of War 4 at the highest settings with anti-aliasing on max or at 4K resolution. Microsoft has also launched a new gameplay trailer showing off what players can expect when the game finally rolls out.

The new gameplay footage also shows two new Swarm enemies dubbed as Pouncers and Drones. Players can expect more new things in Gears of War 4 besides the improved graphics and gameplay mechanics.

PC users are also recommended to use a solid-state drive (SSD) for faster loading times considering that the game takes up 80GB space. Of course, a 120 GB SSD might not be enough as the Windows installation files already take up up to 20GB.

Gears of War 4 for the PC is expected to be released on October 11. Xbox One users can pre-order the game for $60 which also includes copies of the previous installments.
