2AM's Jinwoon, whose real name is Jeong Jin-Woon, revealed his honest thoughts about 2AM's possible disbandment. In March 2015, the 25-year-old idol decided not to renew his contract with JYP Entertainment.

In a recent sit-down interview with Korea's Daily Sports, according to All Kpop, Jinwoon was asked as to whether the 2AM member, Jo Kwon, Lee Changmin, Lim Seulong and him, discussed staying together at the same agency.

"We talked about it," said Jinwoon. "However, all of our music preferences were so different that we naturally moved to different labels."

Jinwoon added that although they have never said it out loud, all of them were probably thinking that there would be no agency that would fulfill their respective musical preferences. Regardless, he reassured fans that there is not even a 0.1 percent instance of the 2AM members discussing disbandment.

"Since we are a vocal group, for as long as there is music, I think that we could always release an album," he clarified. "I wish that our companies would quickly pull out all of the stops to get the ball rolling. 2AM could only release an album, depending on our agencies."

As of press time, there is still no word regarding 2AM's much-anticipated comeback. Nonetheless, Jinwoon, Seulong, Changmin and Jo Kwon have recently reunited for a V app broadcast, dubbed "Homecoming Day," on July 10, Kpop Music reported.

To celebrate their eighth anniversary in the business, the four-member ballad group gave their fans updates about their respective solo activities. It can be recalled that Jo Kwon, 26, is the only 2AM member to stay with JYP Entertainment, while the other three signed with other entertainment labels.

Jinwoon, who landed his first lead role in KBS's "Dream High Season 2" (2012), signed with Mystic Entertainment and continued to pursue a career in action. He recently starred as a former rookie rising baseball star, Choi Seung-Chan, in JTBC's "Madame Antoine."

The 16-episode drama, which aired on JTBC from Jan. 22 to March 12, follows a famous fortune-teller, Ko Hye-Rim (Han Ye-Seu), who believes in the fantasy of love and a psychotherapist specializing in women's psychology, Choi Shoo-Hyeon (Sung Joong). His past research and life experiences have left him doubtful that true love really exists.
