Production and the cast members of the upcoming 8th instalment of "Fast and the Furious" franchise has been keeping their fans updated with what's about to go down in the film. What we know so far is that the upcoming "Fast 8" would surely have a number of intense action packed scenes.
According to Ecumenical News, the much awaited prison break scene would finally happen. Although a lot of fans speculated that Jason Statham's character would be the one escaping from jail, recent updates showed that The Rock's character Hobbs would be the one busting out of jail.
The former wrestler loves posting bits and pieces of details of the film in his social media accounts and one of The Rock's post showed a snippet of a fight scene where his character is surrounded by inmates and prison guards, desperately paving his way out of the correctional facility beating up whoever comes in his way. The Rock captioned his post with "Hobbs prison breakout." It is also said that this prison break scene has been planned long before, and now the production has finally figured out where to incorporate the scene in the upcoming "Fast 8."
On the other hand, Vin Diesel also posted some snippet where a potential partner up with another character might happen. The actor posted a picture where his character is seen whispering something to the still unknown character of Dame Helen Mirren. A lot of speculations states that Diesel and Mirren's character might collaborate on a new project.
The identity and the role of Mirren's character in the film is still not yet discussed, but according to some rumors, the actress wouldn't be involved with the action scenes and she wouldn't be seen on car chases as well.
In other news, aside from The Rock's intense prison break scene, his character would also be seen as a soccer mom.
According to Comingsoon, the recent "Fast Friday" video showed the former wrestler busting some moves while dancing The Haka (a traditional Māori war dance) in front of a group of girl soccer players. Rumors claim that aside from busting his way out of the prison cell, Hobbs would also be seen coaching soccer and be a dedicated soccer mom as well.
