The upcoming "Quantico" Season 2 recently released the first exclusive look at the highly-anticipated show, and fans have grown even more excited.

"All relationships will percolate and be slower," Safran said. "If The Fugitive was our Season 1 blockbuster, Season 2 is a different movie entirely."

Speaking of relationships, many are wondering where Alex (Priyanka Chopra) and Ryan's (Jake McLaughlin) relationship will go in "Quantico" Season 2. According to TV Guide, Safran teased that the duo will go through a lot of ups and downs in the sophomore season. But despite all the challenges they will face, Alex and Ryan might make their relationship official in the new season.

"The first time you see her, you see them together," Safran told Entertainment Weekly. "Alex and Ryan are dating." But before fans can dive into the romantic aspect of Alex and Ryan's relationship, Safran teases that "something goes terribly wrong between Alex and Ryan within the first 45 seconds of the premiere."

In "Quantico" Season 2, Alex is joining the CIA where she meets a colorful roster of new characters. Perhaps, she might meet someone that would come between her and Ryan? And there's a huge chance that it might be Tovey's character Harry Doyle, who's been described as "just as likely to seduce your husband as he is to pick his pocket when it's over."

Meanwhile, viewers of "Quantico" Season 2 will also understand the difference between how the CIA handles things compared to the FBI. There will certainly be tension, especially when these two agencies are forced to worked together. "The FBI teaches honest and trust and finding the truth and protection, and the CIA teaches deception and lying and twisting information to get what you want, what you need," Safran said about the drama that's going to unfold in the new season.

"Quantico" Season 2 premieres on Sept. 25 on ABC.
