Now that the "Bleach" manga is over, fans can now look forward to the live-action adaptation of the franchise in 2018. Meanwhile, some fans believe that "Bleach" may go the same path as "Naruto" did with "Boruto."

The role of Ichigo Kurosaki will be played by actor Sota Fukushi and the film will be directed by Shinsuke Sato, Anime News Network reported. The live-action film is currently scheduled for a 2018 release date. "Bleach" manga also had an anime adaptation which lasted for 366 episodes, which continuation may still be a possibility as it only covered until chapter 480 of the manga. This leaves 206 more chapters as source material for an anime continuation.

Meanwhile, some fans over at Reddit believe that the live-action flick will begin on how Ichigo got his Shinigami powers from Rukia and will ultimately lead to the showdown with Aizen. For many, this was the arc that propelled the series to its massive popularity and among the ranks of "One Piece" and "Naruto." Some are also hoping that it would be the beginning of a potential trilogy or sequel for the manga's live-action adaptation.

In other news, the final chapter of "Bleach" was released and for fans who have yet to read the chapter, it is now available in Manga Mint as there will be some spoilers ahead. It ended with Ichigo and the rest of the gang having families of their own and were seen hanging out together over at Ichigo's clinic. The main protagonist is now married with Inoue, who has been his long-time friend as well. Also, Rukia Kuchiki is married to Renji and both couples now have a child of their own.

This led some fans to believe that the manga will not end just yet as the possibility of a spin-off is currently on the table. Some are excited with the idea of Kazui and Ichika having their own spin-off manga, much like how the manga "Naruto" got one. However, some are opposed to the idea as the manga had an abrupt ending due to low sales, which may discourage Shonen Jump of giving it another go. Here is a video review of "Bleach" chapter 686.
