MBC just dropped new stills from an upcoming episode of "W - Two Worlds," starring Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo. After several episodes of multiple gory deaths, the show's previous episode finally revealed the person responsible for all the killings.

"W - Two Worlds" episode 9, which aired on Aug. 18, saw Oh Sung Moo (Kim Eui Sung) who decided to put a face to the cartoon's notorious no-face killer in the hopes of ending the webtoon once and for all. The famous cartoonist was seen sketching the suspect and drawing how the no-face killer should be caught.

To everyone's surprise, it was then uncovered that Oh Sung Moo drew his own face as the killer. Unexpected by the cartoonist, the cartoon's killer, whose name is said to be Hang Sang Hoon, comes into more power than ever with his newfound identity.

This has apparently set the story on an entirely different path than what the webtoon artist originally intended. The new stills were widely circulated on Twitter.

"Giving an identity to the killer who had no face is going to turn the entire situation on its head," a source from "W - Two Worlds," said in a statement obtained by Soompi. "You can look forward to what the killer will do once he spreads his wings in the webtoon."

The ongoing fantasy drama has been getting attention for both its A-list cast and its unique meta-fiction theme. Hence, "W - Two Worlds" became the most talked about drama online from Aug. 15 to 21, according to Good Data Corporation's research team, as cited by China Christian Daily.

The show ranked the first spot with a score of 17.59 percent, while Park Shin Hye and Kim Rae Won's "Doctors" (SBS) finished on the second place with 10.18 percent after being in first amid the earlier week. JTBC's "Age of Youth" comes in the third spot, which is said to be the highest-ranking Thursday-Friday drama for the third week in succession.
