It was last April when the sixth season of the zombie themed post-apocalyptic series, "The Walking Dead," ended with an explosive and puzzling finale. With the latest trailer already out a month ago, latest reports now highlight the possible storylines of the upcoming season.

Although fans of the series would want to know who Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) killed using his baseball bat, there is still no update on who received the hit from the leader of the "Saviors." Despite of that, it is almost confirmed that "The Walking Dead" Season 7 is going to show the death of a major character, Creators has learned.

Despite of the lack of information regarding the character that Negan killed in "The Walking Dead" Season 6, the same publication highlighted other details relating to the entry of a new and interesting character next season.

The report said that fans have long been anticipating for the entry of Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and his enormously large tiger pet, Shiva. According to Melissa McBride, who plays Carol in the series, Ezekiel is a very important character in the comic book version of the franchise, which is why she could not wait for the fans to see the introductory scene of the new character in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. Furthermore, she feels that the supporters of the series will not be disappointed with the entry of Ezekiel.

On the other note, Game N Guide cited another addition of a new character in "The Walking Dead" Season 7. The publication noted that the entry of Brion is an indication that a major character is indeed leaving the series.

It was said that the character is a leader-type personality, and is relax and calm even in difficult situations. In regards to the gender, it is still not clear whether Brion is going to be male or female. There is also still no confirmation yet if the character will be a protagonist or another antagonist of "The Walking Dead" Season 7.

"The Walking Dead" Season 7 premieres on October on AMC.
