"The Bachelorette" Season 12 star JoJo Fletcher, 25, is rumored to be one of the 13 celebrity contestants of "Dancing with the Stars" Season 23. There is a possibility that she will paired with Valentin Chmerskovskiy, 30, who was confirmed to appear as one of the professional dancers on the upcoming season of the ABC reality talent show.
Aside from Chmerskovsky, seven other professional dancers of "DWTS" Season 23 were announced on "Good Morning America" on Aug. 23, Tuesday. The other professional dancers as well as the 13 celebrity contestants will be announced on the same show on Aug. 30.
"It's going to be amazing," Chmerskovsky said of "Dancing with the Stars" Season 23 on "Good Morning America." "We're going to have an incredible cast as always."
Chmerskovsky noted that he is particularly excited about the professional dancers who are coming back. Among them are Artem Chigvintsev, Gleb Savchenko, Sasha Farber, Sharna Burgess, Allison Holker and Lindsay Arnold.
"DWTS" Season 23 is scheduled to premiere on ABC on Sept. 12. Aside from Flectcher, who is now Jordan Rodgers' fiancee, Olympic champion Simone Biles and former Disney star Jake T. Austin are also joining the cast, a source told E! News.
Meanwhile, Kym Johnson has confirmed that she is not returning as a professional dancer in "DWTS" Season 23. On Aug. 22, Monday, she was spotted at the Television Academy's Performers Peer Group Celebration in Los Angeles, California, with her husband, "Shark Tank" star Robert Herjavec.
"I love the show and I love to still be part of it," Johnson told Entertainment Tonight. "But, you know, I still want to hang up my dance shoes and what a way to end."
Herjavec and Johnson were dancing partners on "DWTS" Season 20. They finished in sixth place during the season won by Chmerkovskiy and Rumer Willis.
