The NBA trade rumors still have the Sacramento Kings searching for a home for Rudy Gay.

There seems to be no perfect match for the Kings in a straight trade since those who desire Gay do not have the assets that the Kings are looking for (a point guard).

The Phoenix Suns is a team that has what the Kings need but they do not seem interested in Rudy Gay (or Kosta Koufos or Ben McLemore for that matter). Thus, a three-way trade is the possible solution.

The Suns have a conundrum at guard. They have two scoring point guards in Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight. They would sometimes play both of them together They eventually drafted Devin Booker, a shooting guard who is now the future of the team. Now, it's ideal for them to deal either Bledsoe or Knight to make room for Booker's development.

Chad Ford of ESPN also believes that the Suns may deal one of them during the season when he mentioned that "at least one of them could be gone by the trade deadline or draft day in 2017."

In SB Nation team blog Bright Side of the Sun, the general consensus was to keep Bledsoe and deal Knight. Knight or Bledsoe could definitely work for the Kings, but the Suns don't want Gay in return.

The Washington Wizards could be the third trade partner in the mix. The Wizards have swingman Otto Porter who the Suns could use along with TJ Warren (the Suns really just don't want ball-heavy Gay even if he's a swingman, too). He brings athleticism in what is projected to be a fast-paced offense.

Porter is bound to be a restricted free agent next season and the Wizards are not so sure about his fit. The Wizards would prefer a veteran at the position and Gay would be a good addition as the team could use another scoring threat.

Since Rudy Gay is probably the one with the least trade value at this point, they should send a first round pick to the Phoenix Suns who are sending the best player (or at least, highest value) in the trade.
