"How to Get Away With Murder" season 3 will introduce a slew of new characters in the upcoming episodes.

According to Bustle, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) will come face-to-face with a new set of students who may not necessarily have any interest in working with the lead character.

In an interview with Deadline, Davis herself confirmed the casting. When the actress was asked to share some information about the new mystery that will be unveiled in season 3, she said, "Yeah, he's presenting a new mystery, and it's going to be presented very quickly in the first episode, which, by the way, we cannot figure out on the set. I mean, last year we could figure it out; we actually did. We got together and figured it out. This year we're totally stumped. But with that new mystery, he explores the relationships in a much deeper way."

"And then I guess I'm dealing with the Keating Five, but I'm also dealing with other students in Middleton University. So, there's going to be a whole different classroom where they're dealing with pro bono cases. All of it will be solved within the season - a lot of questions will be answered," she continued.

Meanwhile, "How to Get Away With Murder" season 3 is also expected to reveal some information about Wes' (Alfred Enoch) dad Wallace Mahoney's (Adam Arkin) killer.

In the finale for season 2, Wes was able to come face-to-face with his dad, but the latter was also killed in front of him. When the series returns, Wes will most likely try to find information about his dad's murderer.

"How to Get Away With Murder" season 3 will premiere on ABC on Sept. 22 at 10 p.m. ET.
