Android 7.0 Nougat: Samsung devices will get update between October-December; HTC 10 will get in Q4 and more

If reports are anything to go by, Samsung devices will get Android N between October-December.

The tech company Google has released the newest version of the Android mobile OS - Android 7.0 Nougat.
The latest update is currently rolling out to the Pixel C, Nexus Player, Nexus 9, Nexus 6, Nexus 5X and  Nexus 6P devices.

Nexus devices such as the Nexus 7 (2013) and the Nexus 5 are not getting the newest update. Samsung Galaxy J3, Samsung Galaxy Note 7, Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and Samsung Galaxy S6 are the Samsung devices that will get the Android N.

According to reports, Samsung will bring Nougat to the Galaxy Note 7 within a time span of two months from the day of the release of Android 7.0 Nougat.

According to the company's spokesperson, they are evaluating and will have more to announce in the coming future.

Samsung devices will get the Android N update in the fourth quarter of this year (October to December), SamMobile reported.

LG devices that will receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update are LG V20, LG G4, LG V10 and LG G5.
The company's public relations director Frank Lee said that their upcoming flagship phone, LG V20, will be the first device with Android 7.0 OS preloaded, when it starts shipping in the third quarter of this year.

It is confirmed that HTC One M9, HTC One A9 and HTC 10 will get the newest update. The company's spokesperson said that they are excited to get final shipping Android 7.0 N software from the tech company Google.

They anticipate the Android 7.0 Nougat update to start rolling out to the unlocked HTC 10 in the fourth quarter, followed by unlocked HTC One A9, unlocked HTC One M9 and carrier versions of these handsets.

Moto G4 Play, Moto G4 Plus, Moto G4, Moto Z Force Droid and Moto Z Droid are the devices that will get the Android 7.0 N. Furthermore, Moto E (2015), Moto G (2015), Droid Maxx 2 (Moto X Play), Droid Turbo 2 (Moto X Force) and Moto X Style Pure Edition will also receive Android Nougat.

Sony Xperia XA Ultra, Xperia XA, Xperia X, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z4 Tablet and Xperia Z3+ will also get the latest Android N update, according to Sony's Official Xperia Blog.
