An unnamed source claimed to the publication that there are several reasons behind the star's alleged negative feelings towards the franchise, revealing that Dornan is disillusioned with all of his experiences in the film following its negative reviews and that his better-half is unhappy with how every woman all over the globe is perceiving husband.

While "Fifty Shades of Grey" has, so far, achieved millions in the box office with more than $400 million earnings worldwide, negative reviews have come up since its Valentine's day opening, the Cinemablend reported.

Aside from the negative feedback, it has been awarded with a dismal C+ cinematic score. Making matters worse is its sinking domestic office numbers during its second week of release, dropping 73 percent. Reports have also come out stating that E.L James, its author, is in a confused state for more creative control for the upcoming sequel, driving away Kelly Marcel, its screenwriter and Sam Taylor-Johnson, the director.

Reps of the 32-year-old star have announced that the "walking away" rumors are just conjecture. The story came first after a report that says Amelia Warner, Dornan's wife, was unhappy with what his husband portrays in the film.

"Fifty Shades Darker" is a sure go; however, no announcements have been made regarding its casting progress.
