Daniel Orton, a 6-foot-10 previous NBA player who played at Kentucky and was in Washington Wizards camp before leaving for the Philippines, was let go and fined for scrutinizing the authenticity of Pacquiao's stature as pro baller.

Orton was cited that he is in support of Pacquiao as a professional boxer but is a joke as a pro basketball player.

Orton isn't the first to call attention to that the multi-titled pugilist. His remark came after the 5-foot-6 Pacquiao, a playing coach for Kia Carnival, scored one point in an amusement. Orton was playing for Purefoods Hotshots when he was considered to have acted unbecomingly.

Aside from the heavy penalty, Orton was also fined with $5,650.

Still, Orton stayed extremely professional when he sent his message of goodbye by means of twitter, as seen on Veooz's games site.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao's megafight with American boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. is finally happening on May 2, ESPN reported.

The clash between the two superstars is expected to break all revenue record in the history of boxing, which includes pay-per-view buy record of 2.4 million made by 2007 junior middleweight championship fight between Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya as well as the all-time pay-per-view profit record of $150 million produced by the fight between Mayweather and Canelo Alwarez in 2013 including its all-time gate record of $20,003,150.

The much anticipated fight will finally happen after 5 years of failed negotiations.

In the past years, nasty accusations were thrown between the camps but the most major accusation was from Mayweather's camp in sighting that the Filipino boxer is a huge Performance Enhancement Drugs (PEDs) user because of his boxing achievements over the years.
