Because former UFC champion Ronda Rousey has not had a fight since she lost to Holly Holm in November 2015, speculations float about her real condition, including a rumor she is pregnant.

On Thursday, UFC President Dana White explained that the reason why Ronda has not yet returned to the octagon ring is she is still recovering from several minor surgeries. When she has healed from these procedures, White said he assumes Ronda would fight again.

The only detail that White provided is that Ronda had minor knee surgery in June, reported the New York Post. After her heartbreaking loss to Holly, Ronda shared that some of her teeth were so loose after the fight because of a kick on her face that she hurts when eating an apple.

There is a possibility that she also had some dental procedures done. Ronda was initially slated to have a rematch with Holly in July at UFC 200 after finishing her six-month medical suspension from UFC but she was not ready yet.

When Holly could not wait for Ronda’s recovery, she fought Miesha Tate but lost defending her title. Tate, who had lost twice to Ronda, lost the title defense fight to Amanda Nunes whom Fox says could possibly be Ronda’s opponent in her planned comeback fight on Dec. 30 in Las Vegas on a pay-per-view card.

White says he believes Ronda’s return to the octagon ring would be the biggest pay-per-view fight in UFC history, surpassing Conor McGregor’s UFC 196 fight with Nate Diaz which got 1.5 million PPV buys, reported Yahoo Sports. Ronda’s fight with Holly in Melbourne, Australia, got 1 million PPVs.
