One of the most highly anticipated games, Persona 5 has something new to show its avid players and fans. Recently, game creator Altus released a new game play video wherein the game's protagonist is in a maid cafe.
Previously, we have seen how the protagonist works on his part-time job. We have also seen him hanging out with Ryuji and even watching a movie with Futuba. This time, he is seen visiting a maid cafe with Morgana the cat.
In the video, players are allowed to purchase different items from the maid cafe and they could even interact with the waitresses. But staying at the maid cafe doesn't mean that your game will be on a hiatus because you can still gain character stat boots. This is actually similar to visiting the tea house in Persona 3, wherein the protagonist will have an increase in charm merely by sipping tea, Twinfinite reported.
The maid cafe featured in Persona 5 is a famous tourist spot in Japan and is always packed with people. But unlike the real life scenario of the area wherein there are many visitors, the one featured on the game play is just calm and could be relaxing for its guests.
Aside from the latest footage, it is expected that Altus will release more game play videos which will no doubt make fans feel even more excited about the upcoming game. Also, it is speculated that more footages will come out as its release date in Japan is nearing which is set on September.
Persona 5 is a role-playing video game which will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, Play Station Lifestyle reported. The popularity of the game is reflected on how much it is being tackled online where many are speculating about its development, game play and others.
In another news, the codenames of the characters were revealed. Protagonist is codenamed as Joker, Ryuji Sakamoto as Skull, Anne Takamaki as Panther, Morgana as Mona, Yusuke Kitagawa as Fox, Makoto Niijima as Queen, Futaba Sakura as Navi and Haru Okumura as Noir, Gematsu reported.
Persona 5 will be released on February 14, 2017 in North America and Europe. It will also be available in Japan on September 15.
