Madison and Strand relationship is confirmed to be explored on the "Fear of Walking Dead" Season 2.
Many are expectant that more of Madison and Strand will be shown in the "Fear of Walking Dead" when the mid-season finale ended up with Travis splitting with Madison. It can be remembered that the group was split into three - Nick setting off to Tijuana where he met the group of survivors led by Luciana while Travis left headed off with his son Chris, and Madison and her daughter were stuck with Victor Strand.
Viewers clamor for the tandem of the two also heightened when the producer of the series Dave Erickson mentioned in his interview with TV Line that the relationship between Madison and Strand will be further developed starting episode 9 of the season, although there was no specification as to what kind of relationship will start between the two. As Erickson explains, "there's a lot of shifting dynamics in the back half based on the losses in the first."
In support of this notion, Strand's cryptic statements that "he is a seducer," and that "there is something in Madison that had they met in a different time and circumstances they would relate to each other" seem to be pointing positive implication.
In any case, Erickson also pointed out that in as much as they plan on focusing on Madison and Strand's relationship, the former will certainly meet with her husband, Travis, at some point in this season. Although he already hinted that by the time the two reconnect, both of them will be in different place emotionally, and somehow, the season will end with them being closer in some strange, bizarre way than they've ever been before.
Meanwhile, "Fear of Walking Dead" Season 2 episode 9 will also be different with Nick, as he will be put in a dangerous assignment. In a trailer that was previously released, Nick is seen going down from the infamous bus followed by a shot of zombies, while the rest of the community are watching behind the wire fence. If the dangerous mission he has been assigned to was to fend off the zombies around is yet to be revealed.
AMC will air episode 9 of "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2 on Aug. 28 at 9 p.m.
