"The Big Bang Theory" season 10, episode 1 will see the arrival of Penny's (Kaley Cuoco) parents Wyatt (Keith Carradine) and Susan (Katey Sagal) and brother Randall (Jack McBryer) at her wedding to Leonard (Johnny Galecki).
However, executive producer Steve Molaro said that for now, the three guest stars will only be featured in the premiere.
"Penny's close with her dad. As we know, her brother Randall has been a bit of trouble over the years, selling drugs and being in and out of jail, and that's put a lot of stress on her mom. You will pick up on the tensions between her mother and her brother very quickly, and you get a glimpse of Penny and her dad being caught in the middle of that," he told Entertainment Weekly.
Meanwhile, Cuoco recently shared a photo with her "8 Simple Rules" co-stars via her Instagram account. The black-and-white snap also served as a tribute to her TV dad John Ritter.
"A little #8SimpleRules reunion party today with a tiny addition," she wrote while tagging her former co-stars Amy Davidson and Martin Spanjers.
Cuoco added that she knows for sure someone is looking down on them from heaven since Ritter died in September 2003.
"8 Simple Rules" was on television for three seasons before it was cancelled by ABC.
In other news, the filming for "The Big Bang Theory" season 10 is currently ongoing.
Cuoco also shared a photo with her co-stars via Instagram. In the snap, Jim Parsons, Galecki, Mayim Bialik, Kunal Nayyar and Melissa Rauch could all be seen with their hands up in the air to signify the 10th season of the hit CBS series.
As of late, there are also rumor that season 10 will be the last for the show.
"The Big Bang Theory" season 10 will premiere on CBS on Sept. 21 at 8 p.m. ET.
