It is time for Meliodas to exact his revenge against the Ten Commandments. Meanwhile, it looks like an all-out brawl between the Commandments and the Sins will be happening.
In the previous chapter, Meliodas arrived just in the nick of time to save Elizabeth from Derrierie's hands. Hit with a lethal blow, the female demon asked Monspiet to summon all his underlings for her to build up her combo technique. He unleashed the 52nd and 53rd strike against Hawk's mother and Hawk, respectively. However, her 54th blow was broken easily by Meliodas.
As the two continued their match, Derrierie was not able to land a blow against the captain of the Seven Deadly Sins. Apparently, the two members of the Ten Commandments planned a sneak attack. As Monspiet unleashed a powerful technique, Meliodas activated his Full Counter, directing the powerful attack back to the two Demons, pulverizing them in the process.
With Meliodas now back in action, fans over at Manga Sail believe that the next chapter of "Nanatsu no Taizai" will be an all-out war between Meliodas and the remaining members of the Ten Commandments. Now on their way to the Kingdom of Leones, Meliodas, Elizabeth and Zaratras will likely face Fraudrin and Grayroad. Fans find this very interesting as Zaratras and Fraudrin have a score to settle, which could also lead to Fraudrin returning to his former self.
With the Commandments at their weakest, some fans even suggest that this will lead to the Goddess resurfacing to ultimately put an end to their clan. After the death of Goddess Nerobasta, this will force the Goddess to take action. Upon doing so, they will also try to get rid of Meliodas. Early in the story, an unknown Goddess ordered Ban to kill Meliodas. As the event unfolds, the history between the two clans will be revealed as well.
Nerobasta mentioned that they massacred every member of the Demon clan, breaking their pact along the way. This implies that their clan may be the real enemies after all, fans at Manga Mint suggested. Here is a video review of "Nanatsu no Taizai" chapter 189.
