It was just last May when the crime drama television series, "Elementary," wrapped up its fourth installment. Since the series is already renewed for a fifth season, reports are loud that the upcoming season is going to showcase a possible engagement between Gregson (Aidan Quinn), and Paige (Virginia Madsen).
It can be recalled that during the recent season of "Elementary," it was shown that Gregson and Paige had a major heartbreak moment, which led to their break-up. However, it was then seen that Joan (Lucy Liu) uncovered Paige's secret regarding her multiple sclerosis. Joan relayed the information to Paige's lover Gregson, with the hope that the couple would be able to sort things out.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the showruner of the series, Rob Doherty, said that Gregson and Paige's relationship will continue to evolve in "Elementary" Season 5. Speculations are also surfacing that Gregson might be in the point of deciding to propose to Paige, because the two is not getting any younger and they should settle down as husband and wife.
Meanwhile, reports are loud that since the series will reach its 100th episode this coming Oct. 30, it will guest star Owain Yeoman of "The Mentalist," ASZ News has learned. It was said that Yeoman's role in "Elementary" Season 5 will be a scientist and the boarding school classmate of Sherlock.
The guest character will enter "Elementary" Season 5 by way of Sherlock asking him for help relating to a murder case, which involves asteroids. Yeoman already guest starred on "Supergirl," which he was reported to be very effective in playing the role of Vartox.
According to the same publication, the episode will rotate on a storyline relating to a man who is trying to figure out possible effective methods in identifying the killer asteroids. The showruner of the series also said that the 100th episode will be full of mysteries. The executive producer added that Yeoman's character will be fun and colorful.
Pertaining to the release date of "Elementary" Season 5, it was said that the latest season will air on Oct. 2.
