Here are some tips to fix red error message.

The problem as experienced by Pokemon Go players is that a creature will appear on their map, but an error message and a red bar pops up as soon as they tap the Pokemon.

According to reports, players who are receiving the error message tapped on a creature that has since despawned. When a Pokemon despawns, it should be removed from a player's map automatically.

However, in cases where a gamer's connection to the Pokemon Go servers is irregular, it takes longer for the app to register that the creature is gone.

Hence, the despawned creature will still show up on the map for longer than it is really there; when players tap it, they receive an error message because in truth, there is no longer a creature in that area.

According to a Reddit user, players should ensure that their device's clock is correct. The fact that the time on a player's smartphone and the time on the Pokemon Go servers are different can result in problems with syncing up to the spawn clock.

Meanwhile, the hit mobile game is set to get trading in a future update. John Hanke, Niantic Labs' CEO, said that adding trading to the Android and iOS game is a priority for them.

Hanke further said that gamers can look forward to extra features such as new ways to interact with PokeStops, in forthcoming versions. It is expected that the game will get new server iterations on a bi-weekly basis.

New server iterations will satisfy players who have found Pokemon Go plagued with connection problems since release. The mobile game needs a stable online connection constantly to play, yet several players have experienced frequent disconnection problems and crashes.

According to The Verge report, the buddy Pokemon feature will come to the game soon. Pokemon Go gamers will be able to choose their favorite Pokemon as a buddy. The buddy Pokemon would walk together with players during gameplay and earn them bonuses such as some additional candy.

It is said that the latest patch will be launched early next week, therefore, it is possible that the buddy feature will release then or shortly after.
