Dwayne Johnson, more famously known as The Rock, is the highest-paid actor in Hollywood and the WWE might be looking to take advantage of that. According to the latest rumors, the WWE is teasing the return of The Rock to the company and possibly wrestling another match.

Since leaving the WWE in 2004 to become a full-time actor, The Great One has been very successful that culminated this year when he was named Hollywood's highest-paid actor. According to Forbes, Johnson earned $64.5 million in the past year.

The earnings came from fees he received for box-office hits "Central Intelligence" and "San Andreas." He also got plenty of upcoming movies such as "Fast 8" and the remake of the television show "Baywatch" wherein he will be playing the role of Mitch Buchannon.

However, The Rock will forever be known as a WWE superstar that made his name by dropping elbows, calling people jabronis and kicking candy asses. In a recent YouTube video posted by WWE, The Brahma Bull was included in the list of free agents from the WWE Draft.

The Rock joined The Undertaker, who is also a part-time performer, and injured superstars Luke Harper and Emma. The video teased the possibility of The Great One returning to action seen with the narrator saying that "his in-ring career is far from over."

According to The Inquisitr, the WWE and The Rock could be joining forces once again to promote Johnson's upcoming movies. One of those films is "Fast 8" and the rumored feud between The Rock and Vin Diesel will be used as a storyline.

However, nothing has been confirmed at the moment and the WWE could just use The Rock's recent success as a way to get more casual fans. He last appeared for the company at WrestleMania 32 when he defeated Erick Rowan in an impromptu match.

The Rock has appeared in every WrestleMania since being 2011 while also wrestling in six matches overall. He had a tag team match with John Cena against Awesome Truth at the 2011 Survivor Series before facing Cena at back-to-back WrestleManias.

The Great One also defeated CM Punk at Royal Rumble 2013 to win his tenth WWE World Championship and retained the title at Elimination Chamber His last match was against Rowan in this year's WrestleMania in Dallas.
