Powerhouse squad Uruguay (4-2-1, 13 points) will look to bounce back from their loss in the previous matchday of the 2018 FIFA World Cup CONMEBOL qualifying tournament as they face middling team Paraguay (3-1-3, 12 points) at their home field of Estadio Centenario in Montevideo on Tuesday, Sep. 6.

Uruguay was nipped by Copa America Centenario runners-up Argentina, 0-1, at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas last Thursday in Matchday 7 of the CONMEBOL World Cup qualifiers, Daily Mail Online reported.

Chile tried to come back as they controlled most of the ball possession since then, but only a goal from Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal at the 36th minute was all they could come up as La Roja succumbed to their third loss in the tourney and dropped down to the seventh spot in the overall standings.
