Erickson also explained that despite Chris having crossed a line when he killed an innocent man, Henrie's character still felt that his actions were justified. "This is a world now where you kill to protect your friends, and I think from his perspective, that's what he did," the showrunner stated.

Apart from Chris' shocking actions, Erickson also made mentioned Mercedes Mason's Ofelia. The character has been absent in the latest episode of the AMC series. He shared that viewers will see Ofelia in a later episode of "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 2.

Meanwhile, some viewers have expressed their disappointment over Chris' killing moment in Season 2 episode 10. However, a report posted on Undead Walking has indicated that the said story development may be an appropriate behavior given what the character has been through.

Avid fans may recall how Chris has had to deal with his mother's death and how his father Travis shot her after she was bitten by a zombie. The teenager has also had to deal with the apocalyptic events around him. These various life challenges would definitely impact a person's emotions and thoughts, as indicated in the same report.
