New details and spoilers for the live-action "The Flash" movie will feature Captain Cold and Golden Glider as the main villains and Captain Boomerag cameo being teased.
It seems that Warner Bros. live-action "The Flash" movie will not only feature not one, but two villains as rumors speculated that Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller) will be facing Leonard and Lisa Snart a.k.a. Captain Cold and Golden Glider, ComicBook reported.
The rumor started with Mashable reporter Jeff Sneider tweeted that Captain Cold and Golden Glider will be present in "The Flash" movie and will likely bring the Rogues with them. The Wrap reporter Umberto Gonzales claimed that the Rogues will added to the DC Extended Universe, since they are Barry's enemies in the comic books.
The Rogues in DC comics are a team of villains that The Flash frequently encounters in Central City and comprised of Captain Cold, Heat Wave, Mirror Master, Weather Wizard, Top, Golden Glider, Captain Boomerang, the Trickster etc. Unlike most villains, the Rogues have their own unique code of honor as they do not practice unwanted killing, unless it is necessary cause and prefer to just steal and rob everyone and everything they can lay eyes on.
It is rumored that Leonard Snart will be alongside Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash in the film as his personal enforcer and that "Magic Mike" star Channing Tatum is being eyed for the role.
In other news, a member of the Suicide Squad will be making a cameo in "The Flash" film as Jai Courtney will likely reprise the role of Digger Harkness/Captain Boomerang.
It is no surprise since Captain Boomerang is part of the Rogues and his present in "The Flash" film expand his character to the audiences and viewers who never knew him in comics, Inverse reported.
Captain Boomerang was captured by The Flash after a bank heist and was sent to Belle Reve prison. He was then recruited by Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) as part of Task Force X, an off-the-books government black ops unit comprise of criminals, assassins and super villains. His teammates consist of Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Slipknot (Adam Beach) and Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman).
There also reports that Justice League member Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher) will be appearing in "The Flash" movie
The Flash will appear first in "Justice League" on Nov. 17, 2017, and his solo film is on March 16, 2018.
