Ghost Rider is teased to appear in the season 4 premier episode titled "The Ghost" as the title may perhaps indicate that Robbie will somehow make his presents known to Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the rest of S.H.I.E.L.D.. In addition, Daisy Johnson/Quake (Chloe Bennet) will also be present during the episode, Spoiler TV reported.

Previous reports indicated that both Ghost Rider and Daisy Johnson will meet and fight in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 as several behind-the-scenes videos sees Daisy on top of Robbie's hot rod in a car chase.

S.H.I.E.L.D. in season 4 has been reinstated by the United States Government due to the effects of the Sokovia Accords and no longer operates in the shadows and under the command of new director (Jason O'Mara). S.H.I.E.L.D. is now tasked t monitor nay super powered individuals, especially the Inhumans.

Coulson is tasked to track down Daisy due to her rogue agent status along with Mack McKenzie (Henry Simmons). Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) is now in-charge of training new strike force teams for S.H.I.E.L.D., while Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) and Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) take their special relationship to another level. However, it will soon become complicated when Simmon's new promotion as a Special Adviser to the Director in Science and Technology, to which creates friction with his relationship with Fitz and the rest of friends from S.H.I.E.L.D.

In other news, four possible Marvel villains will likely make there appearance in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4, Comicbook reported.

First of these is the organization Leviathan, who made their MCU debut in "Agent Carter" TV series. The organization in the comics was a Soviet espionage groups that the Secret Warriors have monitoring. Leviathan was shut down due to its members turining into humanoid monsters and fans will like to see them in season 4 along with the Secret Warriors team.

The second would be MODOK as the Advanced Idea Mechanics or A.I.M. looks to start trouble in the MCU yet again, this time against S.H.I.E.L.D. in the show. A.I.M was established by Aldrich Killian as developers of the Extremis, which eventually became centipede in season 1. MODOK will likely fill the void left by the organization in "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

Maximus the Mad is another potential main villain in the show since the showrunners may introduce more classic Inhuman characters in season 4 including members of the Royal Family.

Lastly, Blackheart could be the main villain of season 4 since Ghost Rider is part of the plot. There might be more characters with spiritual and supernatural abilities as opposed to enhanced people and Inhumans

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." season 4 will air on Sept. 20 on ABC.
