This week appears to be a time for celebrity death hoaxes. After Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone was allegedly killed for the nth time on Saturday, on Tuesday, it was singer Miley Cyrus’s turn to be “killed.”

The original source of the fake news is the website Now8News which had circulated in the past fake news such as the moon turning green and 15 days of darkness in November. The website claimed Miley was allegedly found dead in her Hollywood home. The alleged cause of the singer’s “death” is prescription overdose, reported Inquisitr.

Similar to the case of Whitney Houston and daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, Miley’s lifeless body was allegedly found by her entourage in her bathtub on Wednesday. There were allegedly no sign of foul play.

Snopes, a website dedicated to debunking internet hoaxes, noted it is not the first time that Now8News has “killed” Miley. It first spread the new of the singer’s alleged death in Nov. 19, 2015. It stresses Now8News is a clickbait website which pretends to be a local TV news outlet and publishes sensational and fabricated stories designed to provoke outrage, including naming some celebrities as dead.

Miley, besides being alive and well, is dating actor Liam Hemsworth and rumored to be pregnant with their first child. There are reports the two allegedly exchanged vows at their Malibu home in front of a small group of family and friends.
