On Monday night, Rollins celebrated his triumph after attacking Owens, the man who pinned him to win the Universal Title on last week's show following assistance from Triple H.

Following the challenge, Owens did a great job that made him an even bigger heel. He called out the crowd in Kansas City, Missouri, which instantly made him public enemy No. 1.

Ben Axelrod was impressed by the champion's work on the microphone and posted his feelings online Bleacher reported.

WWE Raw's open set in motion the process of converting Rollins into a great guy for the first time since he turned on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose and broke up The Shield back in June 2014.

Raw commissioner Stephanie McMahon, who had denied any involvement in her husband, Triple H, turning on Rollins had initially suspended the Architect after attacking Owens during Owens' championship coronation ceremony.

Foley come for rescue and matched up the two wrestlers at the next pay-per-view. He then overruled that call and informed Rollins that he would be given the chance to claim Owens' title in Indianapolis on Sunday, Sept. 25.

Owens and Rollins' match could yet become a Triple Threat, Owens had earlier on recorded a win over long-time rival Sami Zayn in Kansas City on Monday evening, capitalising on his fellow Canadian's ankle injury to prevail with a Superkick and a Powerbomb Sky Sports reported.

The question been asked whether Foley or McMahon is in partnership with Triple H. The King of Kings who made his return to WWE programming last week and interfered in the Fatal 4-Way elimination match that helped Owens in the Universal Championship.

According to reports, WWE would seemingly want fans to think McMahon and Triple H are planning behind the scenes.

The fact that McMahon suspended Rollins so quickly would support that. But it could be a case of misdirection, with Foley the actual villain in power on Raw.

Triple H's grand plan could be revealed at Clash of Champions.
