Ben Higgins has been paying an arm and a leg to please his fiancée Lauren Bushnell. Being a flight attendant in the past, Bushnell is used to a certain lifestyle that Higgins is finding hard to fulfil.

In a recent news, Ben Higgins has reportedly spent $25,000 to give his house a makeover as desired by his fiancée, Lauren Bushnell.  "The Bachelor" winner lived an extravagant life of island holidays and traveling in private jets before she participated in the show. In order to keep up with her indulgent lifestyle, Higgins asked for a hefty price to air their wedding live, a source told OK Magazine.

However, Bushnell said in an interview with People magazine that they are both a regular couple. She also mentioned that if they have had hot tub dates, they have also just simply ordered in, sitting on their couch. As the couple gets ready for their own reality show, "Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After," they talk about life after the "Bachelor."

For now, Bushnell admits that their lives are much more stable since "The Bachelor" ended. They are also much deeper in love, now that they know each other's quirks. Bushnell and Higgins are engaged for now and have not come up with a wedding date yet. While they are not certain when it will be, they are certainly going to get hitched in 2017.

Bushnell also added that they are planning to get married in the winter season and have already started scouting the locations. She hopes that the fans will see their wedding live as it airs on their new reality show.

However, if the money issues are indeed true, then a lot of things might change between now and their wedding date. For now, the fans can look forward to see at "The Bachelorette" JoJo Fletcher and Ben Higgins share screen space again when "Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After" airs on Oct. 11 on Freeform, Entertainment Online reported.
