The device is powered by a 2.1 GHz MediaTek Helio X20 MT6797 processor paired with 2GB of RAM, which will run Xiaomi's latest Android-based MIUI 8 software.

More so, Redmi Note 4 will sport a 13-megapixel lens as its rear camera and 5-megapixel lens at the front. The device is also packed with a 4,100 mAh non-removable battery and offers a dual slot for the SIM, compatible for both Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM. Its connectivity options come with WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, and 4G connectivity (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Mashable reported the Redmi Note 4's physical design to be a metal and unibody design with slightly 2.5D curved glass edges, and accented with antenna lines on the back. The casing comes in three variants - silver, gold, and dark grey.
