There has been another battery explosion of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. This new case has been reported following multiple reports of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 explosions and overheating. The aftermath of the battery explosions and of the fire resulted in $1,800 worth of damages.

Following the incidence, the Federal Aviation Administration (FFA) plans to ban passengers from carrying phones during flights. It has become known to the public that Samsung has worrying issues concerning the Samsung Galaxy 7 Note 7. Samsung has already ordered a recall globally of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which is already causing shipments counting to two million, as reported by Phandroid. For the meantime, carriers have ceased offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

There is no surprise when this current episode of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 battery explosion came into play. The incidence happened when a man was sleeping inside his hotel room. It was reported that the explosion occurred while the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was being charged. Lucky enough, because of the loud sound of battery explosion, that awakened him.

The man knocked the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 onto the floor to try to extinguish the flames from the device. Consequently, he burnt his finger but luckily, no serious injuries have resulted onto him.

The hotel where he stayed charged him with $1,800 worth of damages. However Samsung is reported to be shouldering the bill.

Meanwhile, Samsung in Canada has issued an order to recall overheated batteries according to CBC News. Fortunately, there have been no confirmed reported battery explosions in Canada but Samsung Canada announced that Canadians could return their Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and this device will be replaced.

After confirmed incidences of battery explosions and catching of fire, Samsung Canada released details regarding the 10 country-recall of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 amounting to 2.5 million units.

Canadians possessing the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 smartphone can exchange the recalled gadget phone with a new device of the similar model or with a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge or Samsung Galaxy S7.
