Apple has recently unveiled their new flagship smartphone and people are already looking for iPhone 7 preorders from Verizon and other carriers as they want to secure a device ahead of time.

Despite the removal of the standard 3.5mm headphone jack on the iPhone 7, loyal Apple sheeple are still willing to spend money on the next big overly expensive device from the company. Interested customers can preorder an iPhone 7 from the different carriers but Verizon seems to be offering the device for free for their subscribers.

Verizon's "free" iPhone 7 preorder scheme requires trading in an old iPhone 6 model to reduce the whole price which will be paid through the monthly data bills, BGR has learned. The amount of the iPhone 6 model will be subtracted to the overall price of the iPhone 7 which the subscriber will be paying in the subsequent months.

Essentially the free iPhone 7 from Verizon will need a trade-in amount of $650 to fill in all the gaps. Verizon is also accepting the iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s and even the iPhone 6s Plus for those who are interested.

If a customer decides to trade-in their iPhone 6 for the new device, they need to do mail to the carrier to avail of the free iPhone 7. All of the credit will be spread out in a 24-month period or depending on which contract the customer chooses.

Verizon and the other carriers will probably ship the iPhone 7 in September 16, The Verge reported. The largest model of the iPhone 7 would be the 256GB option with a price tag of $969.

Apple also announced that the iPhone 7 jet black option will ship later in November. Customers who do not want to preorder from Verizon or the other carriers can directly buy from the nearest Apple Store through credit cards or cold hard cash.

Interested customers who want the iPhone 7 preorder from Verizon can go directly to their preorder page for the monthly payments. If they have an old iPhone 6 model, they can choose the option to trade it in and Verizon will give the instructions on how to mail the said device.
