"Suits" has seen a lot of actors come and go, but the USA series is fond of having past characters either for a new story angle or for a flashback scene, everyone who has ever been on the show is always possible to return. Each member of the main crew certainly has their own favorite on which actors they would like to see on "Suits" again, and it happened that this time, Meghan Markle has named one.
In an Instagram post, Markle unveiled that she would like to see Abigail Spencer once again as she reprises her role as Dana Scott, well-known as Scottie, on the show. While Markle was not sure if and when that could happen, she requested her Instagram followers to support Spencer's new NBC series "Timeless."
In her post, Markle captioned a photo with Spencer on a street in New York saying: "My heart feels full after looking at this one. Love you @abigailspencer." "Bring back Scottie to @suits_usa (but also catch her new show @nbctimeless this October!)," the post read.
In addition to the hashtag #NY, Markle, who plays as Rachel Zane on "Suits," also added #birthdaysoulsisters at the end of the post, as she and Spencer celebrate their birthdays at same date, Aug. 4, 1981.
Spencer also shared a picture from their reunion. "Always amazed by this beauty. We hold on to one another. #birthdaysoulsister #nyc @meghanmarkle ❤❤❤," she put on Instagram, together with the snapshot.
Spencer has made an appearance in 13 episodes of the USA series, "Suits." In the last season, she returned as Scottie for two episodes. However, it's unclear whether the actress would return for Season 6 as she is a series regular on "Timeless" currently. In "Timeless," she acts as Lucy Preston, a history professor who teams up with scientist Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) and soldier Wyatt Logan (Matt Lanter) to stop time-traveling criminal Goran Visnjic (Garcia Flynn) from rewriting American history.
According to NBC, "Timeless," an upcoming American science fiction drama series is expected to premiere on Monday, Oct. 3 at 10/9c.
Meanwhile, "Suits" Season 6, Episode 10, the summer finale, titled "P.S.L.," will air at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 14, on USA Network, USA Network reported.
