Chelsea absorbed its first winless match in the term as the team settled to a 2-2 draw with lowly squad Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday, as per Sports Mole.

It was also the first winless game for new head coach Antonio Conte in the English top flight as he opened his first season in England with three straight wins.

Spanish striker Diego Costa scored a brace in the match as he opened the scoring at the 18th minute to give the Blues a 1-0 lead at the halftime break.

However, the hosts were not to be intimated at their home turf, netting a quick two goals, courtesy of midfielders Gylfi Sigurdsson and Leroy Fer at the 59th and 62nd minutes, to take the lead at 2-1.

Costa scored his second goal with nine minutes left before full time to salvage the draw and help the team avoid its first defeat this season.

Chelsea is now at second place in the overall standings behind Manchester City, who are still perfect following their 2-1 win over United in their derby last Saturday.

Meanwhile, Liverpool pulled off a remarkable 4-1 victory over reigning Premier League champions Leicester City at the Anfield last Saturday, Goal reported.

Head coach Jürgen Klopp placed Daniel Sturridge in the middle of his attacking front three, kept Sadio Mané in the right wing, and slid Roberto Firmino to the left while leaving Philippe Coutinho in the bench, which proved to be effective as the players executed well in the lopsided win.

Firmino was the best during the match with a brace at the 13th and 89th minutes while Mané scored at the 31st. Completing the Reds' four-goal haul was midfielder Adam Lallana who netted his goal at the 56th.

The Foxes were able to score a consolation goal at the 38th courtesy of English striker Jamie Vardy.

The high-profile match between the Blues and the Reds is expected to be a close one as always as the arch-rivals always deliver highly-exciting performances against one another.
