Newly-promoted club Delfino Pescara (1-0-1, 4 points) will try to keep themselves undefeated in their controversial start to the 2016-2017 Serie A season as they face struggling perennial powerhouse Inter Milan (0-1-1, 1 point) this Sunday, Sep. 11 at the Stadio Adriatico.

Pescara started their English top flight campaign on the right foot with two consecutive unbeaten performances. First, they were able to pull off an impressive 2-2 draw with last season's runner-up squad Napoli in their season-opener.
However, their second game was controversial as their original 1-2 loss to Sassuolo was overturned by the Italian Football Federation into a 3-0 win over after league found out that I Neroverdi fielded in an illegal transferee in the match in the person of forward Antonino Ragusa, as per Football Italia.
League rules said that a club can only be allowed to alter their rosters upon notification and approval of the federation and Sassuolo failed to advise authorities that they are adding another player after they have already submitted the team's 25-man lineup.
With that, head coach Massimo Oddo's team is still undefeated in two games this term.
Meanwhile, Inter had struggled in their first two games, dropping a stunning 0-2 game to Chievo in their opener then settling to a 1-1 draw with another lowly team, Palermo, at their home stadium in San Siro on Aug. 28, Yahoo Sports reported.
After a goalless first 45 minutes of play, the visitors opened the scoring at the 48th minute with a goal from defender Andrea Rispoli.
It took until the 72nd minute before new head coach Frank de Boer's side scored and it was on a header from team captain Mauro Icardi from a brilliant cross by midfielder Antonio Candreva.
With the draw, I Nerazzurri remained winless in the current season. The team is favored to prevail against Pescara as de Boer's boys are eager to earn their first win this term.
