MacBook Pro 2016 and Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be unveiled in October 2016.

It is expected that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be released in October 2016. Also, according to a BGR report, the MacBook Pro 2016 will be launched in the same month.

If reports are anything to go by, the Surface Pro 5 will support 4K resolutions and sport 16 GB of RAM. The Microsoft device will be powered  by Kaby Lake processors.

The latest processors are expected to perform the similar level of high-intensity workload with less hardware. Kaby Lake processor will ensure the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is more efficient and faster than laptops or tablets that run on the 6th generation of Intel processors such as the i5 or i3 chip.

Speculations are doing the rounds that the device will sport a new Surface Pen. It will come with a special dock to charge and hold the Surface pen.

According to many reports, the October launch is indeed accurate given that the tech company Microsoft has started offering the SP 4 at a discounted price. The products usually see a significant discount or price drop when a successor is about to be released in the market.

But some reports claim that the Surface Pro 5 will be unveiled next year.

Meanwhile, rumors are making the rounds that the software company is gearing up to release a a Surface All-in-One (AIO) PC during an October event.

Microsoft has many sizes planned for the device that is likely to run Windows 10 Anniversary such as 27-inch, 21-inch and 24-inch options. According to reports, the desktop computer will come with touchscreen displays.

Rumor has it that the 2016 MacBook Pro will be equipped with the Kaby Lake processor. A significant upgrade would be the appearance of the OLED touch bar or Dynamic Function Row that replaces function keys.

According to a MacRumors report, Touch ID sensor and AMD Polaris-based GPU are the other possible components. The upcoming Apple device will reportedly sport a lighter and thinner design.

There are also reports that the tech company Apple will unveil the new MacBook Air in 2016.
