The popularity of the KBS series "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" continue to soar where part of its success can be attributed to the hard work completed by its cast and crew members. A staff member for the drama has recently praised cast member Park Bo Gum for his positive working attitude.
"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" also known as "Love in the Moonlight" has been enjoying strong ratings since it first aired in August. It has captured the attention of many Korean drama fans with its interesting storyline and talented cast members such as Park. One of the production members for the KBS historical series has recently revealed actor's behind-the-scenes attitude, Soompi reported.
The source has made mention of the South Korean actor's hard work while filming the KBS series. It appears that Park has done extensive research about his role and the drama's time period. The former "Music Bank" host portrays the role of the Crown Prince Lee Yeong. The prince is a smart yet unpredictable young man whose image depicts an unreliable and mischievous person during the Joseon dynasty. The said character is also the only heir to the throne.
The drama's production staff commented that Park would diligently prepare for his character while on set. The actor would even check on the small filming or character details to ensure that he captures the emotions and actions needed for a specific scene.
Apart from the actor's filming and role preparations, the source also revealed how Park would always be smiling on set despite the hot filming conditions. The production staff member shared that the cast members of the KBS series have had to endure wearing the hanbok, Korea's traditional attire, during the warm summer weather. However, Park would serve as the production team's source of energy given his positive and happy attitude on set. "Park Bo Gum has the power to move people's hearts," the source stated.
In other news, the actor has also received support from his fans, as well as friends in the entertainment industry, in the form of food treats. Park's friend Go Kyung Pyo has sent a snack cart gift to the KBS series' filming location in early September, allkpop reported. The two actors previously starred in the hit series "Reply 1988."
"Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" airs every Monday and Tuesday on KBS.
