New details for "Resident Evil 7" will feature pre-ordered DLC items, a "Resident Evil 2" remake demo and a PS4 Pro version soon.
Capcom announced that "Resident Evil 7" will be getting support from Sony's updated PS4 console, the PlayStation 4 Pro complete with 4K and HDR graphics. The new PS4 Pro console is stated to launch on November and several current and upcoming games are line up for it such as "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare", "Battlefield 1", "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End", "Spider-Man", "Final Fantasy XV" and many more, Gamespot reported.
Meanwhile, its seems that a leaked pre-order DLC items for "Resident Evil 7" has been revealed. Capcom’s social media specialist Tim Turi teased several months back that the sequel will have a Deluxe version and several pre-ordered contents, revealing the "Survival Pack" that contains hardest difficulty level within the game.
So far, Turi is still secretive about the pre-ordered items, but now its seems that the validity of these items jas been unveiled this week.
According to the Swedish retailer website Discshop (via Gamerant), "Resident Evil 7‘s" pre-order bonuses will offer up four different Survival Packs with the Recovery set, Handgun set, Burner set, and Chem Fluid set.
However, Capcom has yet to publicly recognize or announce these packages for "Resident Evil 7", so nothing has truly been confirmed at the momment. Nevertheless, the items seem to be legitimate, as some include classic items from the "Resident Evil" series like the green medicinal herbs in the Recovery set, and red boxes of ammunition in the Handgun set.
The Chem Fluid set will feature a new healing item, while the Burner set can be used for the Flamethrower. In addition, each of the sets are pictured with different types and sizes of coins, each with different colors such as silver, copper, bronze, and gold.
Previous reports revealed that Capcom will introduce a zombie-like monster in "Resident Evil 7", not to mention a new main character named Ethan in the leaked ESRB description.
The gamers as Ethan, will use a variety of weapons such as handguns, shotguns, explosives, flamethrowers and a even a chainsaw to fight off mutant monsters. Severl cut-scenes in "Resident Evil 7" will depict heavy violence and gore as players will see severed hands, legs, exposed guts, corpses and even getting impaled by a shovel.
Lastly, it is rumored that "Resident Evil 7" may contain a demo version of "Resident Evil 2" remake as someone from NeoGaf claimed that the strip numbers on the left hand side of the "Beginning Hour" demo featured clues about the remake.
The second string of numbers corresponds to the product ID of the first "Resident Evil" in the PlayStation console specifically the "Director’s cut" which that included a demo "Resident Evil 2". Gamers speculated that Capcom will put a demo of "RE2" remake in "Resident Evil 7" as soon as the game is finished and will likely be added in a bundle pack.
However, Capcom has not yet made statement regarding the "Resident Evil 2" remake demo in the "Resident Evil 7".
"Resident Evil 7" will launch on Jan. 14, 2017 for the PS4, PS VR, Xbox One and PC platforms
